Dr. Sam Tahmassebi

Sam Tahmassebi is a patent attorney registered with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and admitted to practice law in California. He specializes in obtaining patent protection for chemical, pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device inventions.
Dr. Tahmassebi received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego, and his Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Washington. He received his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, graduating cum laude, Order of the Coif.
Dr. Tahmassebi is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of California, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is also a long-standing member of the American Chemical Society, American Bar Association, American Intellectual Property Law Association, San Diego Intellectual Property Law Association, and Licensing Executives Society. Dana B. Robinson

Dana Robinson’s practice focuses on trademark prosecution and licensing, copyrights, and as a business transaction attorney. He has prosecuted hundreds of trademarks in the US Patent and Trademark Office, represented numerous trademark infringement actions, as well as cancellations, oppositions and appeals before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
He started and exited from several businesses as an entrepreneur, and is now an active investor. He has a unique focus on web and application start-ups. He co- founded eChristian, the largest religious audio publisher on the web.
Mr. Robinson received his bachelor’s degree from L.I.F.E. Pacific College earned an M.A. at Azusa Pacific University and his J.D., cum laude, from the University of San Diego School of Law. He is admitted to practice in Nevada and California, and before the Federal District Courts for the Central District of California, the Southern District of California, and the District of Nevada.

Ross A. Epstein

Ross Epstein advises businesses and individuals on protecting, managing and leveraging their intellectual property assets. His emphasis is on IP portfolio development and management, corporate transactional services, anti-counterfeiting and other IP enforcement, licensing, corporate governance as well as international transactions and structure.
His affinity for the entrepreneurial client stems from his own experience in business as a founder, President and CEO of BCH Communications.
He is a member of numerous Associations, including the San Diego County Bar Association, Association for Corporate Growth, Corporate Directors Forum and the San Diego Venture Group. He co-chairs the Intellectual Property Special Interest Group of CommNexus and is a Trustee of the Licensing Executive Society, USA/Canada Chapter. He is a member of Technology Committee of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, the Orange County Medical Device Network, and the San Diego Intellectual Property Lawyers Association.
